Dates:                    January 8 – April 1                                                               13 weeks

The Bible was written thousands of years ago, by mostly Jewish writers to a mostly Jewish audience.  What would it be like to see the text of Scripture through their eyes and with their way of thinking?  In this class, we will explore what it means to “Think Hebrew,” to understand the Bible as the original listeners and readers might have understood it, and how doing so reveals additional depth and meaning to God’s word.

Offering:                Prayer At The Speed Of Life

Leader:                  Pastor Bill

Dates:                    February 26 – April 1                                                              6 weeks

We hear in the Bible, “pray continually” 1 Thessalonians 5:17.  But how can I pray continually between work, soccer practice, family gatherings, meetings at church, a block party, and more?  Our lives move fast and most of us struggle to fit God and prayer into that hectic space.  But what if I told you there were traditions in the last 2,000 years of the Church that would help us to see prayer differently and pray continually even when life won’t slow down? Throughout the sessions of Prayer At The Speed Of Life we will learn and experience a variety of prayer traditions that span the last 2,000 years of the Church.
